Teddy Bears with Wings!
It rained here all evening yesterday, and standing in the midst of hundreds of stranded commuters at the station on my way home made me wish for some sort of miracle to get us all home safe. As helpless as I felt about needing to get started on my journey home, the only person who remained cheerful and happy through that drenching hour was a little boy holding tight onto his teddy bear.
Guardian angels come in different forms, and if that little boy had a guardian angel, he’d sure be that teddy bear. Angels have been a part of humanity since time immemorial, and unfortunately, as much as we’d like them to, not all of them look like Victoria’s Secret Angels.
Our little girl has been having nightmares but she also doesn’t like having anything on the table at night, so we cant have a camera installed in case it frightens her. The new TeddyCams, however, make this a lot easier. Designed like a normal teddy bear, you can easily keep an eye on the nursery while you do something else, and your little one won’t even know the cuddly bear has a camera in him.
Skeptics often wonder if we really need angels, but I think we do. This gave me a whole new idea to explain to my little daughter where guardian angels are and how their protective shield exists around us. So I sat down last night and set her favorite stuffed toys around her including the teddy spy-cam, and began the story of little guardian angels and how they keep us safe. Suffice to say, she didn’t have another nightmare last night and she’s gone off to playschool this morning, bright as a button!
As the lovely ABBA song goes, “I believe in angels, something good in everything I see” ….do you?
